Inside Singapore Airlines

As the award-winning Singapore Airlines enters its 70th anniversary year, National Geographic gains exclusive behind the scenes access to find out just what it takes to operate South East Asia’s biggest airline and what the future might look like for this iconic carrier.

Filmed over a busy holiday weekend we follow the ground support staff, cabin crew and aircraft engineers coordinating the 120 flights arriving and departing during this period, as well as the head chef, creating, testing and delivering more than 20,000 inflight meals each day. We also follow the design team to look at the next generation of features for the future planes that will take the airline though its next 70 years.
